Lillie E. Elsea

Lillie E. Elsea (nee Blodgett), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, August 30, 2020 at the age of 99. Loving wife of the late James R. Elsea; beloved daughter of the late James P. and Polly A. Blodgett; devoted mother of John (Catherine) Elsea, Carl (Terry) Elsea, and Darl Elsea; cherished grandmother of Ron (Shelly) Anderson, Jennifer (Clark) Woodman, Tina (Jonathan) Wagner, and Stephanie Elsea-Trapp; treasured great-grandmother of Haley (Andrew), Bailey, Dusty, Chasen, Dylan, Camren, Nina, Norah, Joaquin, Bradley, Nadia, and Weston; great-great grandmother of Willow Marie; beloved aunt and great aunt.

Lillie is also preceded in death by her two brothers, Richard Blodgett, JD Melvin Blodgett; four half brothers, Victor Blodgett, Basil H. Minnix, George W. Minnix, Cecil M. Minnix; two half sister, Faye Blodgett and Susie Britt; son, James Thomas Elsea.

Family was the most important thing in Lillie’s life. She was a loving mother to her four sons, a devoted grandmother and great-grandmother. Over the years, Lillie liked to fish, travel, play cards and bingo. She made many crafts and enjoyed crocheting and quilting. Lillie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Lillie's name to the donor's choice.
