Lily Verhaeg

Verhaeg, Lily (nee: Stringer) of Florissant, MO, died Tuesday, October 13, 2015, at the age of 65. Lily was the beloved wife of Antonius Verhaeg; cherished daughter of the late James Mack Stringer, Sr. and the late Irene Luecke; devoted mother of Antoinette "Toni" Zvorak and John (Aimee) Verhaeg; loving grandmother of Gabriella Verhaeg and Marissa Verhaeg; and dear sister of Gloria Davis, Mack (Shirley) Stringer, Vicky Ragland (Mark Deming), Brenda (Randy) Hancock, and Nancy (Clyde) Foland. Lily is also survived by her granddog, Sassy, many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends.

Lily enjoyed writing poetry, reading, shopping, and caring for her cats. However, what she enjoyed most was spending quality time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all of people she loved.

All extended family members and friends who are planning to attend the graveside service should meet at the funeral home at 9:30 am. We will be leaving for Jefferson Barracks promptly at 10:00 am.
