Linda M. Kling-Suttkus

Linda M. Kling-Suttkus (nee Hackstedt), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, December 5, 2022 at the age of 68. Loving wife of the late William Scott Suttkus; beloved daughter of the late Aloys and Johanna Hackstedt; devoted mother of Lindsay (Jasson) Horton, Zachary James Kling, and Jake Kling; cherished grandmother of Alexis, Natalie, William, Charlotte, and Benjamin; dear sister of James (Carla) Hackstedt; treasured aunt of Brad Hackstedt and Pam Ralls.

Linda loved first and foremost her children, late husband, family and friends. The holidays were her favorite time of year because that’s when her family got together to spend time with one another. Linda was a great entertainer and enjoyed cooking for the people she loved. Other hobbies included traveling, needlepointing, crocheting, puzzles, board games, gardening, and taking care of her animals. Linda paid great attention to detail no matter what she did. Everything always had to be done the right way without cutting corners.

Linda was also an avid music fan. She always enjoyed ending the day with a cocktail while listening to Sammy Hagar, Van Halen, Pearl Jam, Led Zepplin and Kiss, among many others. One of Linda’s favorite jobs was working at Riverport so she could listen to all of the bands that came through while she worked. A friendly and warm soul, she loved meeting new people whether it be at work or on vacation. Her love touched so many people, and in return, Linda was dearly loved by those in her life. She will be greatly missed.
