Linda L. Bacon (nee Shanks) of Saint Charles, MO, Tuesday October 24, 2017, age 72. Loving wife of 43 years to the late Alfred "Gene" Bacon; beloved daughter of the late Vince and Ruth L. Shanks; devoted mother of Teresa "Traci" (Jim) Nolkemper, and Tim Bacon; cherished grandmother of Matthew Keymer; dearest sister of Robert (Wynn) Shanks; she is also survived by many other relatives and friends.
Linda loved spending time with her family, they enjoyed taking trips together to the Lake of the Ozarks. When it came to baseball, Linda was a diehard St. Louis Cardinals fan. Linda and her friends all loved to go out to eat together, especially to tea rooms. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
