Linda LaSauce

Linda LaSauce (nee Hopes), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, December 24, 2022, at the age of 72. Loving wife of the late Herbert LaSauce; beloved daughter of the late Beverley and Winthrop Hopes; devoted mother of Beverly Salinas, Evelyn Yonta, and John Salinas; cherished grandmother of Crystal Joy Heredia, Emilia Rose Heredia, and Herbert LaSauce Heredia; treasured great-grandmother of Ethan James Heredia; dear sister of Carole (Frank) Caputo, Bill Hopes, Liz (Bob) Allmeyer, Ed Hopes, and Lu (Lew) Richardson. Linda was preceded in death by her siblings, Buzzy Taylor, Freddie Taylor, Richie Hopes, Dianne Butler, Jimmy Hopes, Evelyn Hopes, and Mike Hopes. She is a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.  

Linda had a zest for life. She enjoyed great music and loved to dance. She was an amazing cook and made the best stuffed shells. She had quite a collection of Disney memorabilia and cherished the memories made with each one. Linda was gifted at counted cross-stitching, and her designs were beautiful works of tapestry. She was a friendly person and loved to laugh. Everyone was either "bro" or "sis" to her, and each person she met became a welcomed part of the family.   

Memorial contributions may be made in Linda’s name to Twin Oaks Assisted Living.
