Linda Faye O'Donnell

Linda Faye O'Donnell (nee Cordia), of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Friday, March 31, 2023, at the age of 77.  Beloved daughter of the late Alma Irene and Albert James Cordia; devoted mother of Kelly and the late Rhonda; cherished grandmother of Cory, Brittany (Aaron), Alyssa, and Saachi; treasured great-grandmother of Owen and Baby Parnell on-the-way; dear sister of Ruth Ann and Albert. Linda was also preceded in death by her siblings, Virgil, Ella Mae, Charlie, Rose, Jake, and Bob. 

Linda worked in the medical field as a transcriptionist and retired after more than 50 years.  She was a single mom and worked hard to provide for her family.  She was so sweet, and everyone loved her.    

As the matriarch of her family, Linda was so supportive of everyone.  She loved and cared for them deeply.  She always looked forward to spending time with her family, just hanging out, having dinner, and playing cards. She especially liked to play games with her sisters.  Her kids and grandkids were always excited to go to her house for big family dinners.    

Linda was a very beautiful woman who appreciated life.  She appreciated the beauty of nature and enjoyed traveling with her daughter’s family.  Her favorite memory of traveling was the time they rented a house in Arizona with giant, sweet grapefruits growing on the tree in the backyard. 

Linda handled the ups and downs of life so gracefully and had a wonderful sense of humor.  She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.  She maintained her faith throughout her life and attended St. Robert’s Catholic Church.  

Memorial contributions may be made in Linda's name to Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
