Linus S. Cotner

Linus S. Cotner, of St. Charles, MO, passed away Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at the age of 95. Loving husband of the late Alma J. Cotner; beloved son of the late Arthur and Daisy Cotner; devoted father of Gregory (Mary) Cotner and Rhonda Cotner; cherished grandfather and great-grandfather of many including Corey Cotner; and father-in-law of Tammy Cotner. Linus is also preceded in death by his son, Mark Cotner; and his brothers, Glen Cotner, Leroy Cotner, Dewey Cotner, and William Cotner.

Linus proudly served his country in the United States Army and Air Force during World War II and the Korean War. He worked as a machinist with McDonnell-Douglas and then Boeing for 37 years before retiring. Linus was a member of the Machinist Union. He loved working on small engine repair and spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. Linus was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Linus's name to American Cancer Society.
