Lionel E. Lawson, Sr.

 Lionel E. Lawson, Sr. of Wentzville, MO, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, October 19, 2015, at the age of 80. Beloved husband of Bonita “Bonnie” Lawson; cherished son of the late Raymond "Hap" and Lora Lawson; devoted father of Linda (John) Tucker, Lionel Lawson, Jr., Larry Lawson, Lora (Kevin) Cervellere, Lance (Karen) Lawson, Lisa (Joe) DeAntona, and late Lee Alan Lawson; loving grandfather of Jennifer, Lionel III, Jessica, Melissa, Amber, Larry, Jr., Lauren, Michael, Bonnie Ann, Joseph IV, Hayley, Luke, and Mark James; treasured great-grandfather of A.J., Bennett, Brayden, Joseph V, Miles, Jackson, Jameson, and Lily; dear brother of Arlen, Doris, Janie, R.G., Rosie, Russell, and Wanda.  He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donnie, Jerry, Larry, and Norman.

Lionel began his professional career as a carpenter. He was the former President of R J Stephens Drywall and owner and President of ACS Interiors.  Lionel was the former president of the Francis Howell High School Athletics Booster Club, and attended St. Charles High School.  Lionel also coached several of his children’s youth baseball, softball, and football teams.  He was also an “active” member of the Wentzville McDonald’s Coffee Club.

He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A luncheon will take place immediately following interment at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 405 S Church St, Wentzville, MO 63385.
