Lloyd “Neal” Senter of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 88 on Tuesday, October 27, 2020. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Anna Ruth Senter (married July 21, 1956); his parents, Lloyd and Neva Senter; and his brothers, David Senter and Ron Senter.
Neal is survived by his children, Ruth Senter, Rae (Rich) Mades, Lloyd (April) Senter, Glenn (Trish) Senter, and Neal Linn Senter; his grandchildren, Neva, Michael, Steven, Matthew, Alyssa, Beth, Lily, and Hannah; his great-grandchildren, Kelsy, Shawn, Kinley, Chloe, Carter, Jackson, Williow, Emma, and Lila; and his sister, Hope Reinitz.
Neal proudly served his country as a member of the United States Army Reserve (1954-1961). Throughout his career, Neal had the distinction of teaching at the Missouri School of Mines, designing software for Western Publishing Company, and retiring from McDonnell Douglas. He was a faithful member of Chapel of the Cross and enjoyed the church community there as a member of the church choir. For fun, Neal liked to spend a relaxing day fishing or solving mind exercises like his daily Sudoku and crossword puzzles. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.
