Charles, Missouri, died just 2 days shy of her 93rd birthday on Thursday, January 7, 2010. Dear wife of Marvin E. Stickrod; beloved daughter of the late John W. Wiley and Estella Wiley; devoted mother of Linda (Wayne) Samland and John (Linda) Stickrod; cherished grandmother of Ellen Gonella, Polly Samland, Wiley Samland, Laura Swanson, and Jeff Stickrod; loving great-grandmother of Tanner Swanson and Rosemary Gonella. Lois was a member of 1st United Methodist Church in St. Charles, Missouri. She was a Tch Sergeant in the US Women's Army Corps in WWII on a special team that coordinated Japanese intelligence data. She loved to play the piano from an early age for her school, church, and friends. Lois was a devoted wife and mother and a warm and helpful friend.
