ACHELPOHL, Lois ’Kewpie’, St. Charles, MO, died peacefully at her son and daughter-in-law’s home, November 20, 2005, age 88. Beloved wife of the late Alvin Achelpohl; loving daughter of the late Edward H. and Maynie G. (nee: Cleary) Schreiber; devoted mother of Rebecca Cleary, Constance Scherer, A.T. “Ted” (Nita) Achelpohl, Jr., Jeanne (Ed) Banovic, David Achelpohl and the late Rosalee Achelpohl; dear sister of the late Helen Schreiber, Maynie Thro, Edward M. Schreiber, Olive Allen and Glennon Schreiber; cherished grandmother of 11 and great grandmother of one great granddaughter; beloved aunt, cousin and friend. Mrs. Achelpohl was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Church. She was active in the Ladies Sodality, the Altar Society and was a member of St. Joseph Health Center Auxiliary and volunteered at the Health Center. Mrs. Achelpohl was also a member of P.E.O.
