Lois M. Lamping (nee Meyer), of St. Charles, Missouri, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at the age of 91. Born on September 1, 1930, to the late Marion and Earl Meyer; dear sister of the late Earline M. Watkins. Loving wife of 61 years to the late Fred H. Lamping Jr.; dearest mother of two wonderful sons, Craig B. and David A. (Carol) Lamping; cherished grandmother of Miriah Denae (Nick) Hittler; a great-grandson, Cooper R. Hittler and two identical twin great-grandsons, Brady and Carson Hittler.
Lois was a lifelong member of First United Methodist Church of St. Charles. She made many friendships through the years at church, and she always treated everyone as if she knew them for a lifetime.
Family was so important to Lois, and she cherished the time she spent with them. She loved family vacations every year and taking cruises all around the world. She also liked golfing, reading, and shopping. She was very content and enjoyed her life to the fullest.
Lois will be remembered for her loving and spunky nature. She always looked her best and made sure she had her heels on and ready to go! She was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
Memorial contributions may be made in Lois's name to Shriners Children's Hospital or St. Louis Zoo Parents.
