Lois M. Ward

Ward, Lois M. (nee: Thompson) of Saint Charles, MO, died Saturday, February 20, 2016, at the age of 87. Beloved wife of the late Rev. William C. Ward; cherished daughter of the late Clarence W. and Winnie Thompson; devoted mother of Karen (Chris) Starbuck, Carla D. Ward, and the late Teresa Fae Ward ; loving grandmother of Erin (Jason) Wigginton, Megan (Jason) Pinckard, and the late Sean Christopher Starbuck; treasured great-grandmother of Kaleb Pinckard, Coston Pinckard, Tanner Pinckard, Haley Betts, Declan Wigginton, and William Wigginton; treasured half-sister of Jimmy F. (Sue) Thompson and Charles F. (Barbara) Thompson. She is preceded in death by her siblings, Medrith Mae Lance, Minnie Lou Thompson, Harold C. Thompson, and Lenard R. Thompson and her half-siblings, Janie Lee Thompson, Mary Annetta Wallace, Billy Wayne Thompson. She was a dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Lois loved fishing, painting, sewing, and cooking. She was active in Girls in Action and Women’s Missionary Union. She was dearly loved, and will be missed by all who knew her.
