Lora Leann Hamline (nee Warnes), of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Wednesday, September 15, 2021, at the age of 60. Loving wife of Jamie C. Hamline; beloved daughter of Beverly Schaber and the late Robert F. Warnes; devoted mother of Hope Jones (Jordan Plank), Jared (Heather) Hamline, and Justin (Shannon) Hamline; cherished grandmother of Isabella Hamline, Mara Hamline, Ella Hamline, Maci Hamline and Aria Hamline; dearest sister of Scott (Brenda) Warnes and Jon (Laura) Warnes; and dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Lora met her husband Jamie at Noah’s Ark Restaurant in 1983, he was a cook and she was a waitress. Jamie thought Lora was very sweet and caring, and he just had to ask her out. They dated, married, and raised a family through many loving years together. Family was so very important to Lora, and she was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. She especially loved her time with her grandchildren and going on outings with them.
Lora loved going to Cardinals games and traveling with her husband and family. She liked to visit antique malls in search of teacups, plates, Dooney & Burke purses, and other knick-knacks that were a rare find. Lora was also very crafty and enjoyed making crafts, pillows, and quilts. Quilting was a special passion of Lora’s, and she devoted many hours to making quilts for her loved ones.
Holidays were a special time of the year for Lora, she always looked forward to getting together with family. She loved spending the holidays with family and sharing the gifts she worked on all year long for them. Everyone always had a wonderful time, and she cherished the memories they made together.
Lora was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorial contributions may be made in Lora 's name to Mid-America Transplant Services.
