Lottie "Lorraine" Halter (Chambers), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Sunday, October 10, 2021, at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late William R. Halter; cherished daughter of the late Charles “Oscar” Chambers and Lula "Pearl" Haffer. Devoted mother of Deborah Lorraine Durante, Gary W. Halter, the late Raymond D. Halter, and the late Steven W. Halter; loving grandmother of Stevie Halter, Steven Halter, Abby Halter, Sarah (Charlie) Kleeman, April (Ryan) Thomas, Angela Durante, Peter Durante, Gary Robert Halter, and Mike Halter; treasured great grandmother of Jordan Kleeman, Madisyn Kleeman, Emma Kleeman, Sadie Thomas, and Brystal Thomas; dear sister of Shirley Thompson, the late Otto Chambers, the late Dotto Chambers, and the late Dottie Haggard; adopted mother of Greg Fuller; friend to many.
Lorraine enjoyed going to the theater, bowling with her senior bowling league, and watching TV. She was a faithful Christian and attended Ridgecrest Baptist church. She was hospitable and made sure everyone around her was taken care of. First and foremost, she LOVED HER FAMILY. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
