Lou Ann Holland

Lou Ann Holland, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at the age of 67. Loving wife of Gary Holland; beloved daughter of the late Orin and Barbara Plack; devoted mother of Barbara (Ben) Reiske, and Brenda (Dr. Joe) Parisi; dear sister of Bill Musker, Grant Musker, and Sherri Gulbrandsen; cherished grandmother of Giavanna Parisi, Maleah Parisi, Kaden Speak, Chase Reiske, Kendal Speak. Preceded in death by her brothers, Mike Plack, Rod Plack, Chuck Musker. Lou Ann was a member of the Booster Babes and was an active member of Cornerstone United Methodist Church, where she was involved in many activities. She worked at the County Veterinary Hospital for 37 years as surgical assistant and office manager. Lou Ann was passionate about golf and she enjoyed bowling for many years. She and Gary trained Brittany bird dogs and were active in field trials. She was secretary of the Greater St. Louis Brittany Club for nearly 20 years. She was instrumental in the organization and facilitation of the No Women Left Behind Golf Tournament at Incline Village. In February of 2018 Lou Ann was diagnosed with ALS. Following her diagnoses she spent the remainder of her life as part of a clinical research and drug trials thru Washington University knowing it would not help her but would help others in the future. Lou Ann was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Lou's name to St. Louis Chapter of the ALS Association.
