Lou "Mama Lou' Ballew, of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Monday, December 23, 2013 at the age of 78. Loving wife of 44 years to the late Dale Ballew; dear daughter of the late Edward and Flossie Behnke; devoted mother of Victor Ballew and Starla (Tim) Lawson; cherished grandma of 7 and great-grandma of 10; dear sister of Virginia (Steve) Noller, Dave (Mary) Behnke, George (Kay) Behnke, Pat (Tom) Eads, and Gertie (Jim) Zurne.
Lou was a member of the United Methodist Church of the Shepherd. She also enjoyed her grandchildren, sewing and clowning, cooking, and loved the ocean and beach.
Memorials may be made to The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society for non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma or the Salvation Army.
