Louanna Schlueter (nee: Loeffler) of Saint Charles, MO, passed away at the age of 92 on Monday, March 18, 2019. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Henry Schlueter; her daughter, Sandra Getz; her parents, Aloys and Gertrude Loeffler; her siblings, Viola Loeffler, Eleanor Campbell, Sr. Aniceta Loeffler, Dorothy Bolte, Mildred Fredenburg, Alfred Loeffler, Robert Loeffler, Lawrence Loeffler, Eugene Loeffler, and Charles Loeffler; and her treasured grandson, David Schlueter.
She is survived by her children, Mary Schlueter, Joyce (Craig) Bischof, Kevin (Debbie) Schlueter, and Brian (Shelley) Schlueter; her son-in-law, Tom Getz; her brother, Henry (Loretta) Loeffler; her grandchildren, Christopher (Bonnie) Getz, Michael (Michelle Berryman) Getz, Crystal (Roger) Taggart, Nick Schlueter, Matt Schlueter, and Jeffrey (Ashley) Schlueter; and her great-grandchildren, Isabella Grace Schlueter, Walter Edward Schlueter, Brayden Getz, Remington Taggart, and Colt Taggart.
Louanna was a faithful parishioner of St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Church. She had many hobbies and liked to keep her mind sharp playing puzzles, crosswords, and word searches. Louanna also enjoyed quilting, playing bingo and bowling. Friends and family will always remember Louanna dearly as a quiet, caring, and loving woman who held her family very near to her heart.
