Louis G. Boyd, of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Saturday, October 9, 2021 at the age of 73. Son of the late George and the late Dorothy Boyd; devoted father of Amanda (Steven) Tan and Sean Boyd; loving grandfather of Connor Tan; dear brother of Mary Vitale and Georgia (Tom) Swayne; treasured uncle of Tony Vitale and Augie Vitale.
Louis proudly and honorably served as a petty officer in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. In his leisure time, he enjoyed fishing and building models of military vehicles and aircrafts. He was a man of faith and a wonderful father and grandfather. His grandson, Connor was the light of his life. He will be remembered for his caring and generous spirit. Louis was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Memorial donations in Louis’ name may be made to Wounded Warrior Project.
