Louis H. Manthey

Manthey, Louis "Speedy", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, August 12, 2008 at the age of 89. Devoted husband of the late Mary Ruth Manthey; dear son of the late August Christian and the late Myrtle Manthey; loving father of Bonnie Britt, Jack Manthey, and Mikel Manthey Sr.; cherished grandfather of 9 and great-grandfather of 18; dear brother of Sister Robert Manthey. He is survived by many nephews, nieces, relatives and friends. He was employed as a Drywall Taper and a member of the VFW and the Coon Hunters Association. He is a U.S. Naval Veteran of WWII. Memorials may be made to the Diabetes Foundation.
