Bruder, Louise Ann (nee: McNamara) of Saint Charles, MO, died on Sunday August 14, 2016, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Raymond Bruder; beloved daughter of the late Lawrence and Veronica McNamara; devoted mother of Barry (Delma) Bruder, Rebecca (Lawrence) Henry, and Louise (Dalton) Ashworth; cherished grandmother of Brian (Lauren) Bruder, Chris (Gretchen) Henry, Eric (Vicki Lynn) Bruder, Patrick (Heather) Bruder, Eileen Henry, Amanda (Rush) Blevins, Erin (Craig) Saylor, Andrew (Kacey) Ashworth, and Raymond (Kristen) Ashworth; treasured great-grandmother of 11 plus one on the way. Louise is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She is preceded in death by her siblings; Mary Jane Gremmelsbacher, Ethel Cox, Lawrence McNamara, and James McNamara.
Louise was nurturing, loved being surrounded by laughter with her friends and family. She was a devout Catholic and proud Republican. Louise was proud of her Irish Heritage and a member of the Hibernian Society. She was a Girl Scout Leader for 13 years and had memberships with the Women’s Auxiliary of WWII Submarine Veterans, Red Hat Society, P.E.O. Chapter Ck, and GFWC Creve Coeur Women’s Club. Recently she began shooting and wished to be a member of the NRA. Louise was the Matriarch of the family and loved them dearly.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Missouri Girls Town in Kingdom City, American Heart Association (Red Dress Program), or Cottey College.
