Louise Bormann

December 26, 1921 — March 29, 2016

Bormann, Louise (nee: Poese), of St. Charles, MO, died on Tuesday, March 29, 2016, at the age of 94. Loving wife of the late Rudolph "Rudy" Bormann; beloved daughter of the late Louis and Mary Poese; devoted mother of Barbara (Robert) Coambes, Tom (Mary) Bormann, Karen (Richard) Gray, Don (Linda) Bormann, Richard (Marie) Bormann, and Susie Merchant; cherished grandmother of 10; treasured great-grandmother of 9; and also survived by nieces, extended family members, and friends.

Louise was an active member of Zion Lutheran Church since the late 1980’s; a founding member of Our Savior Lutheran Church for 12 years, and previously a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church from birth until Our Savior was founded, even attending school there as a girl. She loved playing cards and was really good at playing Bridge. Louise enjoyed sewing, gardening, and was an avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan. But most of all she enjoyed being with her family and friends. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made to Zion Lutheran Church or Breeze Park Retirement Community.
