Louise Catherine Mary Jezierski (nee Boscacci), of Saint Charles, Missouri, passed away Saturday, June 25, 2022, at the age of 93. Loving wife of the late Louis Jezierski; beloved daughter of the late Romeo and Mollie Boscacci; devoted mother of the late Joseph A. Jezierski; mother-in-law of Mary Jezierski (Paul Hoppe); cherished grandmother of Joseph Louis Jezierski; dear sister of the late Richard Boscacci.
Louise was a devoted woman of faith and a member of St. Charles Borromeo and Our Lady of Good Counsel in her earlier years. She enjoyed working in customer service at Endicott Shoe Co., Howard Johnson Hotel, and then retired after more than 20 years with Grandpa Pidgeons. In her later years, she volunteered at the St. Charles Visitors Center, where she kept everyone in line.
Louise was a sweet, hard-working woman, but she was straight and narrow. She would tell you like it was, but she would do anything for you. She looked forward to playing bingo every week. She was a great cook and enjoyed baking as well, and she never used a recipe. In her spare time, she liked going down to the St. Charles waterfront and feeding the geese and watching the concerts on Main Street.
With her heritage from Ireland and Switzerland, she loved to travel to the homelands of her mother and father as much as possible. She loved her family and she doted on her husband every chance she could. She always looked forward to spending time with her grandson and spoiled him as well. She also loved her dogs, especially Chi Chi and Pepper.
Louise or “Mama Lou,” as the staff and residents at Mount Carmel knew her, will be remembered for her spunky nature and her wonderful love of her family. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Baue Funeral Homes is currently following CDC recommendations regarding mask and social distancing policies.
