Miget, Louise L. "Corky", of Chesterfield, Missouri, died on Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 82. Louise was the loving wife of Jimmie M. Miget for 61 years; beloved daughter of the late August and Lola Rath; devoted mother of Randall (Debbie) Miget, Chris (Bonnie) Miget and Daniel (Carol) Miget; cherished grandmother of Anna (Ian) DeSilva, Aidan Miget, Erica Miget, Courtney (Jason) Bogolin, Lindsey (George) Kriegshauser, Catherine Miget and Melissa Miget; treasured great-grandmother of George Kriegshauser; she is also survived by many dear friends.
Louise graduated from Washington University with a Bachelor's Degree and then became a teacher at Granite City High School. She was a member of several sororities including PEO and Alpha Omega Pi. Louise was a very active member of her church and the community. She was the first woman board member of Good Samaritan Home and the first woman President of St. Peters Church.
Louise enjoyed reading, bowling, playing golf, singing in the choir, traveling and camping with her husband, but, most of all, she loved spending time with her family and friends.
