Parks, Louise N. "Wawe", of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Monday, May 31, 2010, at the age of 96. Dearest wife of the late John W. Parks; dear daughter of the late Tomer and Naomi Myers; loving mother of Juanita L. (Harry) Yapp and John W. (Mary) Parks; beloved grandmother of Dennis P. (Carolyn) Bozwell, Diane P. Bozwell and John W. (Michelle) Parks III; great-grandmother of Deborah R. Durbin, Richard A. (Colleen) Durbin, Lorie L. Twellman, Curtis R. Durbin, Daniel E. (Jennifer) Bozwell, Marie D. (Justin) McDowell, Angela Bozwell, Lindsay J. Parks, and John W. Parks IV; great-great-grandmother of Ashlie Twellman, Ellie Bozwell, Joey Bozwell, Annie Durbin, and Cassie Durbin; dear sister of Ester Imogene Hoxsey, and beloved aunt, cousin, sister-in-law, and friend. She is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Deborah S. Durbin, grandson, Darryl P. Bozwell, and her brothers, Charles Thurman Adams and Edward Harold Adams. She began her 30+ year career with McDonnell Douglas as a WWII riveter and progressed to payroll accountant before her retirement. She enjoyed studying the Bible with her friends. Louise served as President of the Toastmasters Chapter and also President of Sigma Phi Epsilon Parents Association. Louise was an avid bridge player and a member of the American Contract Bridge League. Memorials may be made to Washington University (Neurological Research).
