Luanne Unnerstall

Luanne Unnerstall, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Friday, January 15, 2010, at her daughter's home in Wentzville, Missouri at the age of 73. Beloved wife of the late Harold Unnerstall of Washington, MO; Luanne was the dear daughter of the late Harry and Florence Sharpe of Missoula Montana; also preceded in death by her beloved grandson Joshua Cates; the devoted mother of six, Steve (Cathy) Cates of Bismarck, ND, Anna Leighton of Wentzville, MO, Cathi (Ronnie) Goins of St. Peters, MO, Jeannine Turner of Springfield, MI, Marilyn (Keith) Henderson of Wentzville, MO, and Linda Cates of Wright City, MO; cherished grandmother of 24 and great-grandmother of 15; dear friend and father of her children Ralph Cates of Battle Creek, MI; dear sister of Joyce (Gary) Smith of Kalispell, MT and Mary Sharpe of Missouri. She was a beloved aunt, cousin, and friend to all who knew her. Luanne was a retired U.S. Congressional Aide, and loved driving the school bus for Francis Howell and the Special School District. She was also a Realtor in the St. Charles area for many years.
