Lucille Vogt

Lucille Clinton Vogt (nee Green), of O Fallon, MO, passed away Sunday, November 3, 2024 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Richard Vogt; cherished daughter of the late Sylvia Bell; devoted mother of David Vogt, Lydia (Dale) Carbrey and the late Donald Vogt; loving grandmother of Michelle Vogt, Candace Johnson, Jeremy Johnson and Jonah Carbrey; treasured great-grandmother of Jasmine, Aramani, Amethyst, Dennis and Madison; dear sister of Sharon (Wesley) Bell Kolkmeier and the late Conrad (Mary Ann survives) Bell. 

Lucille Vogt, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, and friend, passed away, leaving a legacy of love, generosity, and dedication. Known for her warm heart and giving spirit, Lucille cherished every moment spent with her family and friends. 

Lucille had a passion for cooking and crafting, finding joy in creating meals and handmade treasures for her loved ones. She enjoyed the great outdoors, especially fly fishing, camping, and embracing nature’s beauty. A devoted wife to her loving husband of over 30 years, she poured her love into her family, always providing support and care. From a young age, Lucille took on the role of caretaker for her siblings and carried that nurturing spirit throughout her life, doting on her children and grandchildren. 

A woman of boundless generosity, Lucille donated her time and resources whenever she could and was a benefactor to several charities close to her heart. She was no stranger to hard work, taking on various jobs throughout the years and embracing every role with dedication. Her energy and love of life inspired everyone around her, and she was truly a blessing to all who knew her. 

Lucille was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all whose lives she touched. 

Memorials may be made in Lucille 's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
