Lucy Albertson (nee Morgan), of O'Fallon, MO, passed away Monday, December 26, 2022, at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Bill Wayne Albertson; devoted daughter of the late Henry Jackson “Jack” Morgan and Ella Marie Jackson; loving mother of Debra (Bob) Sneed, Paula Szwargulski, Tim Albertson, Jeffery (Bobbie) Albertson, Billy (Mary) Albertson, Bob (Amy) Albertson; cherished grandmother of Sarah (Mark), Timmy (Maria), Mary (Josh), Morgan (Liz), Jeffery, Christopher, Tori, Ben, Michael, Emma, Jack, Will, Molly, Knox, and Brooke; precious great-grandmother of Katherine, Nick, Vera, Severin, and Josiah; dear sister of Glenda Barnes and Jimmy Morgan. She was also preceded in death by 17 siblings.
Lucy was married to her husband, Bill, for 45 years before his passing in 2002. She loved her children, her grandchildren, and her great-grandchildren. Spending time with them was the most important thing to her. Lucy enjoyed cooking and gardening. She especially enjoyed the holidays because it was an occasion that the whole family could be together.
Lucy was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made in Lucy’s name to Alzheimer's Association.
