Luke Machens

Luke Machens, baptized into the hope of Christ’s Resurrection, Portage Des Sioux, MO, April 5, 2005 age 87. Beloved husband for over 65 years to Berniece Machens; loving father of Tom (Marge) Machens and the late Mary Ann Beilsmith; dear father-in-law of George Beilsmith; grandfather of Craig (Jenny) Beilsmith, Christy Beilsmith, Andy Machens and Julie Machens; dear brother of the late Sylvester, Francis and Richard Machens; dear brother-in-law and uncle; friend to many. Mr. Machens was a member of Our Lady of the Rivers and St. Francis Church. He was a farmer in Portage Des Sioux and Montgomery County and was a member of the Missouri Cattlemen's Association. He was also an avid skier and deer hunter.
