Mack F. Coker, of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Saturday, February 27, 2021 at the age of 89. Loving husband to Frances Coker; cherished son of the late William and Rosa Coker; devoted father of Ed Coker (Teresa); loving grandfather of Stephanie (Richard) Steltenpohl; treasured great-grandfather of Ayla; dear brother of the late Elizabeth, Dot and Bill.
Mack married his best friend and they spent 70 adventurous and loving years together. To Mack the most important thing was his family. He cherished being a husband and father, but one his favorite titles was that of Grandpa and Pawpaw. Mack proudly and honorably served in the United States Marine Corps during the Korean War. After his service in the Marine Corps he started in the trucking industry which he did for over 40 years. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and had a green thumb with a flourishing garden. Mack enjoyed playing cards and dominos with family and friends. Mack and Frances often hosted game nights to get the family together around the table. He always stayed busy in the garage and his yard. Mack was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
