Madeline Negri

Madeline Hulett Negri passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at age 92. Madeline was born in Evening Shade, Arkansas. She is preceded in death by her parents Mart and Frances Hulett, siblings Hattie Ruth, Georgia, Maudie, Martelle, and M.L., son-in-law Brian, and husband, Richard Negn, of 70 years. Mother of Gary Negri and Susie Ahrens (Negri); beloved aunt to many nieces and nephews; loving granny of Daniel (Alicia) and Jessie (Paul); treasured great-granny of Wyatt, Layla, and Baby PJ arriving this June.

Madeline was a lifelong, faithful member of the Church of Christ. She spent her career as a proud and dedicated elementary teacher, and she cherished her years teaching kindergarten and third grade. In her younger years, Madeline took delight in sewing and gardening. She loved antiquing and enjoyed hunting for pieces of her many collections. She also loved reading, crossword puzzles, bird watching, and spending time with her family.
