Mallory F. James

Mal “Mallory” F. James, of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2023, at the age of 64. Beloved husband of Darla Joy James; cherished son of the late Malcom and Gloria James; devoted father of Carrie Melissa (Matthew) Dina, and Sara Marie (Kevin) Gibbs; loving Papa of Lillian "Lilly" Marie Kossman, Addison "Addy" Joy Gibbs, Emmersyn "Emmy" Kate Gibbs, and Noah James Dina; beloved brother, brother-in-law, uncle, great uncle, and friend to many.

Mal was a loving man. He invested his time fully in both his family and his professional life. He was the founder and president of the J.A. Club, a valued and dedicated employee beginning at St. Louis Children's Hospital and currently at BJC for 42 years. In previous years, Mal was a volunteer firefighter for Riverview Fire Department. Mal and Darla were Jr High sweethearts, married for 44 years. He was a NASCAR fan. He and Darla attended Daytona races since 2001. Mal loved and adored his family. He loved the chaos of the Sunday night dinner. His greatest joy was attending all his grandchildren's sporting events and their many trips to Disney World. Mal was a man who knew what love was and how to give it. Mal was dearly loved, and his presence will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Mal's name to St. Louis Children's Hospital.
