Manuel “Manny” Castro, Jr.

Manuel "Manny" Castro, Jr., of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, December 29, 2020 at the age of 67. Loving husband to the love of his life and best friend for almost 28 years Barbara Lynn Castro; beloved son of the late Manuel Anthony, Sr. and Lupe Castro; devoted father of Regina Castro and Manuel Anthony (Corina) Castro, III; dear brother of Ramona (Leo) Salazar; and is also survived by three brothers, four grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Manny is also preceded in death by his sister, Georgina Castillo.

Manny proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He volunteered with the American Red Cross for many years. Above all else, Manny enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed cooking and was known for his delicious ribs and tasty pork chops. Manny loved his beloved canine companion named Leather. He liked guns and American built classic muscle cars and trucks. Manny had the best most infectious smile with a sense of humor to match it and a big bear hug for anyone who wants it. Manny made friends everywhere he went. He was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Memorials may be made in Manuel's name to American Red Cross.
