Marcella E. “Pet” Kemper

Marcella Emma “Pet” Kemper, nee Schneider, of St. Charles, MO, born April 17, 1925 and passed Monday, March 12, 2018, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Vincent J. Kemper; cherished daughter of the late Frank and Fredoline Schneider; devoted mother of Thomas J. (Vickie) Kemper, Peggy A. Ostmann, Timothy G. (Janet) Kemper, and Patricia K. Frasca; loving grandfather Carla (Scott) Paul, Christopher (Jennifer) Ostmann, Michael (Heidi) Ostmann, Matthew Kemper, Becki (Ryan) Moss, Casey Kemper, Joseph (Anna) Kemper, Daniel Kemper, Ashley Frasca, and Nicholas (Elizabeth Quillen) Frasca; treasured great-grandmother of Tyler Paul, Hailey Paul, Jade Ostmann, Callie Ostmann, Cora Ostmann, Karly Ostmann, Libby Moss, Elin Moss, and Paxton Moss; dear sister of Jack (Mary Kay) Schneider, sister-in-law of Loretta Boschert; and loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many. Marcella is also preceded in death by her son-in-law Carl Ostmann, and sisters MaryAnn Kuhlmann and Kathleen Wetter.

Marcella graduated from De Paul Hospital School of Nursing in 1946 then dedicated many years as a Registered Nurse before retiring in 1984 from St. Joseph Health Center. She retired deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Memorials may be made to Ronald McDonald House or Stray Rescue of St. Louis in Marcella’s honor.
