Marcella Lillian Cordes

Memorial donations may be made to Masses or donor's choice. Marcella L. Cordes (nee: Stuttwig), St. Charles, MO, October 26, 2001 age 82. Mrs. Cordes was born to Benjamin and Emily Lueninghoener Stuttwig. Her loving parents have preceded her in death. Mrs. Cordes was the first President of the Women's International Bowling Congress and in 1991 was inducted into the St. Charles and St. Charles County Amateur Sports Hall of Fame. She was employed by the Jefferson Street Nursing Home as a registered nurse. Mrs. Cordes is survived by her dear husband, Cyril 'Bud' Cordes. They were married in St. Louis, MO December 30, 1941. She is also survived by two children: Jeanne Regen (Richard) and John C. Cordes (Janet); a brother: Norman Stuttwig and four grandchildren.
