Margaret Anthonis

Anthonis, Margaret of Chesterfield, MO, died on Thursday, March 12, 2015, at the age of 89. Loving wife of the late Edward Frank Anthonis; beloved daughter of the late Leonard and Rosa Care; devoted mother of Kathleen (Martin) Vogel, Edward (Gail) Anthonis, Jr., Joseph Anthonis, Julie (Randy) Stratton and Tony (Cheryl) Anthonis; cherished grandmother of Nathan (Rachel) Vogel, Jason (Michelle) Vogel, Edward (Kristina Orcutt) Anthonis III, Jessika (Alex McGregor) Anthonis, Sean Stratton, Aaron Anthonis, Caleb Anthonis, Jacob Anthonis, Sarah Anthonis, Rachel Anthonis and Rebekah Anthonis; treasured great-grandmother of Pierson Vogel, Kylie Vogel, Caleb Brian Anthonis, Wyatt Anthonis, Emelia McGregor and Silas McGregor. She is preceded in death by her siblings James Care, Lena Brailey, Mary Mello, Joseph Care, Nester Care and Josephine Shelton.
Margaret was a longtime member of Great Decisions as well as a member and advocate for League of Women Voters. She was a lifelong Catholic who was very generous to many Catholic charities. Margaret enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
