Margaret Ann Bruno (nee Hunt), of Saint Louis, MO, passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025, at the age of 88. Beloved wife of John Bruno; cherished daughter of the late James and Anna Hunt. Devoted mother of Richard (the late Patricia) Bruno and Allen (Holly) Bruno; loving grandmother of Mallory (Denny) O'Leary, Patrick Bruno, Nathan Bruno, Jenny (Shawn) Hopkins, and Sarah Gibbs; treasured great-grandmother of Jack O'Leary and Eli Hopkins; dear sister of Carol Hunt; aunt of Brenda Williams and Ellie Clary. Preceded in death by daughter, Rose Bruno; son, John Bruno, Jr.; sister, Bernadine Hunt; two brothers, Bob Hunt and Richard Hunt.

Margaret had a passion for square dancing, knitting, sewing, and baking. Before her husband John's passing, she traveled extensively, exploring Europe and China. She cherished her daily walks with her walking group and was renowned for her Christmas cookies, earning the nickname "Santa's Elf" from her family. Margaret was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Memorials may be made in Margaret's name to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
