Margaret Eilers

Margaret Eilers, of Portage Des Sioux, Missouri, died on Tuesday, January 1, 2013 at the age of 88. Loving wife of the late Vincent M. Eilers; dear daughter of the late William and Marie LeClaire; devoted mother of Jeanette Eilers, Barbara Pappas, and Nancy Riechmann; cherished grandmother of Katie Riechmann, Jason (Lacy) Riechmann, Allison Riechmann, and Darren (Julie) Pappas; great-grandmother of Layla Belle, Evin and Lilly; dear sister of Lawerence LeClaire; and beloved aunt of many nieces and nephews, and dear friend of many. She is preceded in death by her siblings Joseph LeClaire, Aloyisious LeClaire, August LeClaire, Richard LeClaire, Clyde LeClaire, and Catherine Sample Mock. Margaret was a lifetime member of St. Francis Catholic Church and a member of St. Ann Sodality. Margaret was a homemaker and also worked as a bus driver and in the cafeteria of St. Francis School. She was also a member of the "Friendship Club" of Portage Des Sioux. Memorials may be made to masses or charity of donor's choice.
