Margaret D. “Peg” Holtmyers (nee Grubbs), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away Tuesday, June 11, 2024, at the age of 89. Loving wife of Monroe Myers; beloved daughter of the late Lonny and Emma Grubbs; stepmother of Marc (Stacie) Myers and the late Michael (Michele) Myers; cherished grandmother of Tom, Scott, Eddie, Stacia, and many great-grandchildren; dear sister of Eugene Grubbs; aunt, cousin, and friend.
Peg is preceded in death by her first husband, Edward Holt; her children Barbara Ann Holt, Dale W. Holt, Kathy S. Palloni; and her siblings Alvia Grubbs, Nellie Johnson, Dorothy Sharp, Jeannie LaFleur, Phyllis Grubbs, and John Grubbs.
Peg was an active member of Stonecroft Ministries, frequently traveling to share her testimony and engage in ministry work. As a devoted member of First Baptist O'Fallon, Missouri, she sang in the choir and taught senior ministries. Peg's personable nature and deep faith served as a true inspiration to many. She dedicated over 30 years as a secretary at Boeing, where she also attended and participated as a chaplain for the Sages Retirement Club. Peg was a world traveler, visiting many countries across the world, one of her most memorable trips, being baptized in the Jordan river by Brother Lee Sanders. In her leisure time, Peg enjoyed crocheting, reading, and solving puzzles. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
