Memorial contributions may be made to Grace Community Chapel. Margaret (Peg) J. Magnah passed away Thursday morning, December 13, 2007, following a lingering illness. Friends may call at Baue Funeral Home, 311 Wood Street, O'Fallon, Missouri Sunday, December 16, 2007 for visitation from 12:00 to 2:00 PM with 2:00 PM Chapel Service to celebrate Peg's life. Peg was born in Gloversville, New York, December 31, 1926. She was the daughter of Margaret and Frank Dillabaugh. She was a long time resident of O'Fallon, and married Ed Magnah in St. Louis, Missouri. Peg received her BS from Lindenwood University and taught school at the Jack and Jill Preschool for 27 years at JL Mudd Elementary School. Peg was an avid gardner, bird watcher, dog enthusiast, seamstress, and quilter. She played the piano and organ in church. Peg was a member of the MENSA Society and was very active in her church, Grace Community Chapel. Preceded in death by her husband Ed. Peg spent her final years living near friends Pat and Tom Weisenstine in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. She is survived by daughters Joy Magnah of Warrenton, Joellyn Kiefer of O'Fallon and stepdaughter Beth Davis, grandson Justin Kiefer, granddaughters Ashlee Kiefer and Shelley Sohn.
