Margaret Louise Bauer

Memorials may be made to Sts. Joachim and Ann Care Center. Bauer, Margaret L., of St. Peters, Missouri, died on Thursday, October 29, 2009, at the age of 97. Dearest wife of the late Harold F. Bauer; dear daughter of the late Harry W. and Florence M. Adams; loving mother of Judith Bauer, Kathryn (Joseph) Chiodo, Mary Beth (William) Shipley and Peggy (Charles) Ratkewicz; beloved grandmother of Jim, Maureen and Greg (Holly) Shipley, Nick Ratkewicz, and Ted and Caroline Chiodo; great-grandmother of Brendan and Ryan Shipley. Margaret is preceded in death by her son, James P. Bauer, USMC, her brother, Harry Adams, and sisters Juanita Ellebrecht and Catherine Phillips. She was a member of Sts. Joachim and Ann Catholic Church. She was a devoted mother, proud grandmother and great-grandmother. Margaret was an avid reader and puzzle solver, and noted for her needlework and joy of cooking.
