Margaret M. Jones

Margaret Marilyn Jones (nee Colburn), of Saint Peters, MO, passed away at the age of 83 on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Jimmy Wayne Jones of 59 years; her parents, Ernest and Ora Mae Colburn; and her siblings, Ellsworth Colburn, Everett Colburn, Doris Blouir, and Mary Gates.

Margaret is survived by her children, Cheryl (Brad) Howard, Cynthia (Jeff) Lauharn, Margery (Randy) Pfundt, and Jeffrey Jones; her grandchildren, Nikolas (Kathleen Scott) Howard, Dani (Argus Keppel) Lauharn, Jared (Ashley) Howard, Nathaniel Lauharn, Zachary Pfundt, Kaylyne Pfundt, Rachel Pfundt, Jacob Jones, Joshua Jones, and Marissa Jones; her great-grandchildren, Zelda Howard, Dash Howard, and Isaac Howard; and she was a loving aunt, cousin, and friend to many.

Family was everything for Margaret and over the years she was a constant source of love and support for her husband, kids, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was the “fun mom” who remained involved in her family’s lives so she could always be there for them. Margaret was great in the kitchen and kept everyone happy with the great meals she cooked or the delicious treats she baked. Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren held a special place in Margaret’s heart, and she cherished all the time they spent together. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.
