Margaret "Marge" Orf

Margaret “Marge” Orf (nee Sachs), of Saint Charles, MO, passed away Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at the age of 92. Beloved wife of 67 years to the late John J. Orf; cherished daughter of the late Wilhelmina "Minnie" and Henry J Sachs; devoted mother of John (Terri) Orf, Ted (Lisa) Orf, and Gregg Orf; loving grandmother of Sara (Mike) Hanes, Kyle (Haylee) Orf, Bill (Hannah) Orf, Jim (Kelsey) Orf, Emily (Wade) Justice, Joe Orf, and Danny Orf; precious great grandmother of Noah Reyes, Harper Reyes, John Hanes, Kyden Orf, Otto Orf, Henry Orf, Calvin Orf, Lyla Orf, Jolie Orf, J.R. Orf, Briar Orf, and Graham Orf; and dear sister of Tom (Judy) Sachs, Ronnie (Pat) Sachs, the late Henry J (Jane) Sachs, the late Bobby (Geri-living) Sachs, and the late Rose (Glennon) Debrecht. 

Marge, a devoted Catholic and affectionate mother, adored her family wholeheartedly. Her vibrant spirit made her the life of any gathering, with her encouraging conversation, her infectious laugh, and her smiling eyes. Marge found joy in activities such as dancing, playing cards, crossword puzzles, golfing and playing the piano. She also liked to cook and her special coffee cake during the Christmas season was a real hit. Her warm and loving presence touched the hearts of those around her, and she will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
