Margaret V. “Margie” Stoll (nee: Price) of Saint Peters, Missouri, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2019, at the age of 96. Loving wife of 60 years to the late Melvin A. Stoll; beloved daughter of the late Anton and Francis Preis; devoted mother of Melvin (Shannon Durbin) Stoll, Jr., Sharon (the late Don) Weidner, Sandy (Steve) Anderhalter, Ken (Donna) Stoll, Diann (Greg) Kuhl, Debbie (Dave) Howard; dear mother-in-law of Fay Stoll; cherished grandmother of Kim, Karen, Shelli, Scott, Jill, Joe, Lori, Craig, Megan, Chris, Jenny, Alex, Christa, Lauryn, Emily, and Zachary; treasured great-grandmother of Adie, Alex, Asa, Michaela, Harry, Jackson, Aida, Ivie, Drew, Jack, Ayden, and Lilly; dear aunt, cousin, and friend to many.
Margaret is also preceded in death by her sons, Mike Stoll and Tom Stoll; and by her siblings, Florence, Mary, Dorothy, Ed, Bert, John, Ray, and Herman.
Margie owned with her husband Stoll’s Confectionary, their "mom & pop" grocery in Jennings, Missouri from 1955 – 1967. She always put everyone before herself, and she made her house a home for anyone staying there. She was a wonderful cook, and loved holidays and entertaining and making big meals for her family.
Margie was a avid St. Louis Cardinals baseball fan, and she never missed a game. She enjoyed the outdoors and barbecuing in her big back yard. Family dinners were always together, and everyone made sure they were there. She had a great sense of humor, and was always sweet and calm - nothing rattled her. She was usually up for doing just about anything; she just had to grab her purse and she was ready to go. Margie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
The family would like to extend a special ‘Thank You’ to the staff, especially Cindy, Theresa, and Mirlande at the Villages of St. Peters for their kind and loving care of Margie.
