Notorangelo, Marguerite (nee Bieler), also known as Marn, of St. Charles, Missouri, died on Tuesday, November 2, 2010 at the age of 90. Loving wife of Anthony Notorangelo; beloved daughter of the late Joseph and Margaret Bieler; devoted mother of Toni (Robert) Garrett, Margaret (Gregory) Greenwald, Michael (Phyllis) Notorangelo, Susan (Lon Haldeman) Notorangelo and Beth (George, Jr.) Laubach; cherished grandmother of Anthony (Shari) Garrett, Joseph (Brenna) Garrett, Dr. Susan Therese (Nathaniel Hathaway) Garrett, Karen (Todd) Jacobs, Mark Greenwald, Nicole Notorangelo, Michael Notorangelo, Rebecca (Christopher Stegeman) Haldeman, Parker Laubach and Elizabeth Laubach; treasured great-grandmother of Lee and Austin Jacobs and Charles and Jack Garrett; beloved aunt, cousin and friend to many. She is preceded in death by sister, Dorothy Morris; brother, Carl Bieler and granddaughter, Ericka Haldeman. Marguerite was a long-time educator in whose honor the Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo Educators Scholarship was established at Harris-Stowe State University in St. Louis. She was an avid golfer who, to celebrate her 80th birthday, played 80 holes of golf that week with her husband. She greatly enjoyed her flower gardens and passed on her interest in them to her children and grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to The Marguerite Bieler Notorangelo Educators Scholarship at Harris-Stowe State University or charity of choice.
