Marian L. Hauk (nee: Root) of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away Sunday, February 4, 2018 at the age of 85. Beloved wife of the late Robert J. Hauk; daughter of the late Lemuel D. and Mary E. Root; devoted mother of Patricia D. (James) Sebaugh, John K. (Michelle) Hauk, Steven W. Hauk, the late Robert D. Hauk, and the late Mary K. Schaffer; loving grandmother of nine; treasured great-grandmother of eleven and one on the way; and sister of the late Rose Marie DeKoker.
Marian was born on March 26, 1932. She married the love of her life, the late Robert J. Hauk on September 2, 1950 in St. Louis, Missouri. Marian will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother. Her greatest joy was spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marian could crochet almost anything. She enjoyed watching sports, especially baseball, football and hockey. She also enjoyed going to the casino, playing cards and bingo. Marian was deeply loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
