Marian Vera Piant

Marian Vera Piant left this world December 17, 2017 after a short battle with lung cancer. She will reunite with her husband of 46 years, Leo George Piant. They will celebrate being together healthy again. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Carrie Patterson, her parents and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Marian was a long time resident of St. Charles, Missouri.

Marian worked at the St. Louis County Library before becoming a full-time wife and mother in O’Fallon Missouri and then in St. Charles. Until two months before her death, she worked in the office of Crosby Chiropractic. She started there as the nanny for Hannah and then moved into doing clerical work.

Marian was born December 18, 1934, the only child of Newman and Mildred Oglesby in St. Louis, Missouri and graduated from Ferguson High School.

Daughters Jan and Debbie and son John, sons-in-law Ed and Jim and daughter-in-law Kim, her seven grandchildren Jason Patterson, Adam Smith, Derek Smith, Justin Bridwell, Jarrod Bridwell, Ashley Stanevich, and Alana Conway and her great-grandchildren Zoe, Dylan, Vanessa, Jackson, Jillian, Connor, Camryn, Eva, Alyssa and Ivan will take comfort knowing that Marian is no longer in pain and is in a much better Heavenly place.
