Marie Suzanne Bieker (nee Chmielik), of O’Fallon, MO, passed away Thursday, May 11, 2023, at the age of 98. Beloved wife of 73 years to the late John Bieker; cherished daughter of the late John and Julianna Chmielik; devoted mother of Dennis (Vivian) Bieker, Sharon (Barry) Smith and Michael (Debra) Bieker; loving grandmother of Ron (Sonja) Tinner, Tina (Bryan) Michael, Jonathan Tinner, Holly Bieker, Laura (David) Bass, the late Mark Bieker and the late James Bieker; treasured great-grandmother of Jessica, Nick, Kate, Samuel and Maddie; great-great-grandmother of Lana Mae.

Marie was an amazing baker and a great cook. She was a social butterfly who never met a stranger and made friends easily with her loving, forgiving and charming personality. Marie loved the casino and playing bunco with friends. Marie was dearly loved and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
