Marie was a long time member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She could often be found quilting, embroidering, or working in her yard tending to her flowers. She always made sure her yard was kept immaculate. Marie was an excellent cook and volunteered her time to help with many church dinners. She always made sure to bring plenty of deviled eggs for everyone. She was an even better baker and she will always be remembered for her famous sugar cookies. Marie loved baking for others and often baked cookies for her entire neighborhood. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Marie was dearly loved and will be missed by all who knew her.
