Marie S. Wilson, Age 98, of St. Paul MO., born October 20, 1916 in St. Paul, MO to Leonard and Saloma Sommer. She attended St. Paul School after eight grade graduation she worked for families in the community until she became nanny/housekeeper for Dr. Ben Neubeiser in St. Charles until her marriage to Robert Wilson 1941. She lived varies location with her military husband. After Mr. Wilson passed in the Korean War the family returned to St. Paul, MO, where she resided until her death.
She worked at Iona's Sewing Shop in St. Charles, MO for 15 years until she opened her business Marie's Slipcovers and Draperies in O'Fallon, MO. She was a business owner for over 20 years. She was active in ST. Paul Church and 4-H community and sewing leader.
She enjoyed bowling, quilting needle work, crochet, and flower gardening. She loved spending time with family and friends.
Marie is preceded in death by her parents, and siblings Angela Clayton, Lucille Sommer, Leonard Sommer, Gene Sommer, Ralph Sommer, Joe Sommer, Loyola Sommer, and Katy Flynn, and her daughter-in-law Carol Wilson.Dearest mother of Robert F. Wilson, Jr. of Eolia, Mo, Sharon Peltzer of Basehor, KS, and Gregory Wilson (Judy) of O'Fallon, MO. Dear Sisters, Viola Dunard of St. Peters, MO and Nita Wehde (Charles) of Old Monroe, MO; 14 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren.
